Poonch: At least 89 civilians crossed Line of Control (LOC) between India and Pakistan from Chakan-Da-Bagh in weekly Poonch-Rawlakote bus service, here on Monday.
Official sources said only 13 people left Poonch for PoK in Poonch-Rawlakote weekly bus service, which plies every Monday. Out of these only two fresh Indian national cross the border so as to meet their relatives on the other side of the border, while eleven of the passengers were those who returned back to their home in PoK.
However, from Pakistan side, 76 civilians travelled to Poonch. They include 56 persons of PoK nationality, who were coming to Indian side for the first time to meet their relatives.
The border opens at 11.20AM and closes at3.30 PM, once in a week.
