Patna : A village guard in Bihar’s Munger district was killed by Maoists, who alleged he was a police informer, police said Tuesday.
Chabbu Turi, a guard in a village under Haveli-Kharagpur police station in Munger, about 200 km from the state capital, was killed by Maoists Monday night.
Munger’s Deputy Superintendent of Police K. Chandra said Turi was killed by Maoists, who suspected him of being a police informer.
A case has been lodged, Chandra said.
