Washington : Assuring that US and Indian intelligence agencies will work together to curb terrorism, President Barack Obama Tuesday said he was with India while remembering the victims of last year’s Mumbai terror attacks.
“We join India in remembering the victims of the 26/11 attacks,” Obama said, addressing media at a joint press conference with Manmohan Singh.
“Our intelligence agencies will work together” to curb terrorism, the US president said.
India is observing the anniversary of one of the most audacius terror attacks within its territory, which left 166 people dead when 10 Pakistani terrorists sneaked into Mumbai on Nov 26, 2008.
