Washington : President Barack Obama Tuesday said there were historic conflicts between India and Pakistan, but ruled out any outside role for the US to intervene between the two South Asian nations.
“There are historic conflicts between India and Pakistan. But there is no place of US from the outside to resolve it. We want to be encouraging of ways in which both India and Paksitan can be secure and focus on development,” Obama said at a joint news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here.
