Islamabad : President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday said the government believes in complete freedom of media and would take all possible measures to ensure that media is facilitated in its professional pursuits.
The President was talking to a delegation of National Press Club which called on him here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday nightDuring the meeting matters related to 7th Wage Board Award, facilities to working journalists, provision of medical treatment and other issues concerning the journalistic community were discussed.
The President also directed Minister for Information Qamar Zaman Kaira to look into their issues for an early resolution.
