Dhanbad : Passengers on the Maurya Express got a shock when they discovered bodies of two men tied in bags in the toilets of a passenger train in Dhanbad in Jharkhand, police said Sunday.
The bodies were lying in toilets of different coaches of the Maurya Express late Saturday. Passengers saw the bodies and informed police.
“It seems that someone killed them and loaded their bodies in the passenger train. It is difficult to say where the bodies were loaded as the train reached Dhanbad five hours after it started from Ranchi,” a police officer said.
“Both the men are in the age group of 35-45,” the officer added, saying they were yet to be identified.
Maurya Express leaves Hatia in Ranchi around 5.45 p.m. and terminates at Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.
