Musharraf said in London that the Saudi king was worried over the prevailing situation in Pakistan, and wanted the political leadership to demonstrate maturity and responsibility and take steps for the country’s development.
Meanwhile, Musharraf has stepped up his political activities in the British capital and is participating in Iftar parties being hosted by his close associates.
Sources close to the former president said former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain were accompanying him in these parties.
