Beijing : China has called on the countries involved in Iran nuclear talks to step up diplomatic efforts and show flexibility to create conditions for a resolution based on dialogue, Xinhua reported.
Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi reiterated the country’s position on the issue during talks with visiting Iranian chief nuclear negotiator and secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili, here Thursday.
Earlier on Thursday, foreign ministry spokesman Qin Gang said China will continue to work for a peaceful solution to the Iran nuclear issue, maintaining that there is still room for diplomatic efforts to settle the dispute.
