The one day workshop was organised by LPO in collaboration with Aviva Life Insurance at the British Council theatre. It was part of their 10-day tour during which they will perform in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

During the workshop, the musicians introduced children to various instruments and demonstrated various techniques of playing instruments. More than 200 students from nearly 20 schools across Delhi took part in the workshop.

“The work we do with the schools forms such an integral part of the work we do as an orchestra. We are delighted to have the opportunity to perform these workshops, to explain some of our western classical instruments and styles of performance,” said LPO’s education director Matthew Todd.
