New Delhi: The Delhi High Court Thursday dismissed a plea demanding stay on 3G spectrum (radio waves) auction alleging that the department of telecom (DoT) was favouring certain operators.
A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice Madan B. Lokur and Justice Mukta Gupta dismissed the petition saying: ” The contention of the petitioner is misconceived.”
The court’s direction came over a petition filed by the Society for Awareness and Development, a non-government organisation (NGO), contending that DoT’s Feb 25 notice inviting applications was tilted in favour of the big 3G operators.
