Bhopal : An innovative portal launched by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, ideasforcm.net, has won the Indian government’s 2009 Web Ratna award, an official said here Monday.
The jury selected the website, run by the National Informatic Centre of the IT ministry, recognising the growing trend of e-governance in the country, the official said.
Launched last year, the website has till date received 2,925 ideas and suggestions for better governance in the state.
Chouhan will felicitate later this month all those whose ideas have been accepted and implemented.
