Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University has decided to revive Hyderabad as Test Center for MBBS/BDS only. The test will be held on May 8, 2010 at Aligarh, Bhopal, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
Earlier the Test Center at Hyderabad for B.Tech. and MBBS was dropped due to disturbance there, on Telangana issue.
“Due to the above decision, many requests were made from the candidates, their parents and some NGOs for reviving the Center. Hence, keeping in view of the difficulties and inconvenience of the candidates, the Vice Chancellor, Professor P.K. Abdul Azis has sympathetically considered their requests,” said Dr Rahat Abrar, PRO, AMU.
The Hyderabad Center will be revived for the Entrance Test of MBBS/BDS only for 2010-2011, he said.
