Hong Kong : A British private tutor has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for molesting a five-year-old girl student, a media report said Thursday.
Nigel Russell Harris, 43, pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of indecent assault after being accused of touching the girl’s private parts at a flat here Sep 9 and 14 last year.
The incidents came to light after the girl told her family.
Judge Stanley Chan Kwong-chi slammed Harris for abusing the trust placed on him by the girl’s parents, the Standard newspaper reported Thursday.
