Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has greeted India on the occasion of the country’s 64th Independence Day to be celebrated Aug 15.
UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan sent a congratulatory message Thursday to Indian President Pratibha Patil.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, also sent similar messages to Patil.
The top UAE leaders also sent messages to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on the occasion of his country’s independence day Aug 14.
