School uniforms distributed among poor girls in Mewat

Nuh, Mewat: Mewat-based NGO Mewat Educational and Social Awakening Society (MESAS) distributed school uniforms among the needy girl students on 30th November at Govt. Sr. Sec. School Ghasera Nuh Mewat.

MESAS has been working in the region for last 10 years on various issues like, child development, women, rural development and especially on girl’s education.

Mewat MLA Aftab Ahmed said that charity is the big work and good deed and MESAS is doing a good job for society. He also counted some work of the present Congress government in Mewat. Mr. Shafiqur Rahman Khan, a well known social activist and a especial advisor of MESAS, asked the MLA and administration to organize a workshop with NGOs and social workers of Mewat. Mahendra Singh Yadav, ADC Mewat also urged people to send girls to school for education. Hazrat Maulana Sher Mohammed Amini and Dr. Rafique Azad also addressed the students.

MESAS also awarded social workers, best teachers and journalist of the region. Mr. Tara Chand Premi, Siddique Ahmed Meo JE, Ramzan Chaudhary and Razia Begum were declared best social activists while Mr. Shafi Mohd., Mr. Akhtar Hussain Malab, Mr. Aqeel Ahmed and Mrs. Suman Saini were awarded as the best teacher, Mr. Surindra Dua, Tahir Hussain, Sher singh Dagar and Zafruddin were also honored by MESAS.
