New Delhi : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Monday said the Congress-led government had lived up to its promise of making India fare well in times of recession.
“We had promised people that we will fight difficulties during recessionary times, we will not let anything affect our economy, and we fulfilled our promise to a great extent,” Manmohan Singh said while addressing the Congress plenary session in Burari here.
