Ranchi : Three mobile phones and five SIM cards were seized during raids in a jail in the Jamshedpur steel city Friday, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided Ghaghidih jail of Jamshedpur. They seized three mobile phones and five SIM cards from two criminals. Some incriminating documents were also seized.
Police suspect that the criminals use mobiles phones to execute crimes outside jails and seek extortion from businessmen and others.
