Proper system of education essential for educational uplift

Aligarh: “Social upliftment and positive change in the community cannot be achieved just by establishing educational institutions unless such institutions have a proper system of education and administration which move in according to the need of the society” said Mr. Qutubuddin, a Dubai based businessman and alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University.

He was speaking at the annual function of Noorul Uloom Education Society, Aligarh held at Sa’ema Mansoor Public School, Parasara, Hathras, UP.

He also appealed to the dignitaries present to establish institutions of quality education in the backward regions of the country.

Presiding over the function former Vice Chancellor of AMU Mr. Naseem Ahmad said: “Every work begins at small level and then it becomes a movement. Quality and administration must be kept in mind while managing it.”

He gave an example of Mewat region in Haryana which was educationally backward but today it is coming out of the darkness of ignorance towards the light of education.

He also urged the local people to take interest for educational development: “No region can be developed by outsiders, local people should take interest” he added.

Secretary of Noorul Uloom Education Society, Aligarh Prof. Nafees Ahmad informed the audience about the situation of the region in 1980 when this school was established by just under a tree which today exists in the form of modern school.

Terming the donation to education as Sadqa-e-Jaria, he urged people to come out to donate generously for the cause.

Noorul Uloom Education Society, Aligarh was founded in 1989. It has since established eleven schools in the remote areas of Hathras (Uttar Pradesh).
