Mumbai : Home loans major Housing Development Finance Corp (HDFC) Wednesday reported a 22.75 percent rise in net profit of Rs.671.2 crore for the quarter ended Dec 31, compared to Rs.546.83 crore in the like quarter last fiscal.
The total income of the company, however, decreased 5.5 percent to Rs.2,762.2 crore, compared to the year-ago figures of Rs.2,924.84 crore.
HDFC’s net interest income was up 27.6 percent to Rs.1,001 crore during the quarter under review, while income from operations during the same period was down 7.27 percent to Rs.2,705 crore.
