Raipur : Home Minister P. Chidambaram said Friday that Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren was coming to New Delhi Jan 28 for a meeting on Maoist insurgency.
“There is a new government in Jharkhand. The chief minister and other senior officials are coming to Delhi on Jan 28 to meet me on the Naxalite issue,” Chidambaram told reporters, referring to the Maoists.
He was reacting to questions from journalists who wanted to know if it was true that the Soren government had decided to go slow on the anti-Maoist drive.
