MMK organizes a conferences on the rights of the oppressed

Tiruvarur (Tamil Nadu): Manitha Neya Makkal Katchi (MMK) of Tamil Nadu has made an elaborate arrangement for its Tiruvarur District Conference to be held on 24 January 2010.
The conference is for “The Rights of the Oppressed” of all the minority communities.

Different leaders representing All India Fishermen’s Organization, Gulf Representatives, Farmers Movcment,Christian Social Activists, etc are also participating.

The conference will reiterate to the Central Government the core issues such as Reservation for minority community for employment, equal status for all the Tamils living in Sri Lanka, and protection of fishermen and farmers.
