Kashmir: No cruelty towards innocents, says Kanthapuram to minister

Kozhikode: The measures taken by the army in Kashmir should not turn to be cruelty against innocents, said Kanthapuram AP Aboobaker Musliyar, national general secretary of Sunni Jam’iyathul Ulema, to Mullappalli Ramachandran, Minister of State for Home Affairs. Kanthapuram made the request while visiting the minister in New Delhi.

Kanthapuram Musliyar said that terrorism and extremism could not be accepted. However, killing innocents in the name of terrorism and extremism can never be accepted in any way. Kashmir is an integral part of India. We should take care that their human rights are not violated so that this feeling for India as well confidence is present in each Kashmiri. Majority of the people of Kashmir hope for a peaceful life. They know that terrorism and extremism are no solution for anything, he added.
