Shimla: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) youth wing chief Anurag Thakur Friday had a narrow escape when his vehicle was hit by another vehicle in Himachal Pradesh, police said.
Thakur, the Hamirpur MP and son of Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal, was on the way to Hamirpur to attend a function along with his family when the accident occurred near his home village Samirpur at around 5 p.m., Superintendent of Police Kuldip Sharma told IANS.
A four-wheeler coming from the opposition direction collided with Thakur’s vehicle, but Thakur and his family escaped unhurt, he added.
