Shimla : A wooden building housing the office of resident commissioner of Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district was gutted in a massive fire early Friday, an official said. No one was injured.
The office of Raghuvir Singh of Pangi valley in Killar town, about 600 km from Shimla, was completely destroyed in the fire, Sub-divisional Magistrate K.S. Choudhary told IANS.
The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained. The loss was estimated to be more than Rs.1 crore, he said.
