Aptos (California) : India’s Somdev Devvarman overcame mid-match jitters to enter the quarterfinals of the $75,000 Challenger tennis here.
Somdev, seeded second, beat American Alex Bogomolov Jr. 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 here Thursday.
He next plays seventh-seeded Briton Alex Bogdanovic, who got a walkover after Slovak qualifier Karol Beck pulled out because of a sore right shoulder.
