Tilaknagar Industries lists at Rs.160.10 at NSE

Mumbai : Tilaknagar Industries, a manufacturer of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), began trading on the National Stock Exchange Friday.

The scrip, which opened at Rs.160.10, was trading at Rs.163 in afternoon trade, up 3.9 percent from its previous closing figure of Rs.156.85 as recorded on the BSE.

The scrip will be traded under the symbol ‘TI’.

The company believes trading at the NSE would improve the liquidity of the scrip and increase its accessibility.

“This is a major development and comes in the wake of impressive financial performance over the last few years,” said Lalit Sethi, Chief Financial Officer of Tilaknagar Industries, which is already listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Tilaknagar Industries is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), which consists of brandy, whisky, rum, gin and vodka. Its brand portfolio consists of Senate Royale, Courrier Napoleon, Mansion House, Castle Club, Classic, Madira, Shot, and Hottt silk.

The Q4 results of the company recorded gross sales of over 1,000 crore (including tie-up units). Their EBIDTA and PAT were also reported at a growth of 113 percent and 96 percent respectively.
