Barabanki: Jahangirabad Media Institute of Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh has announced to give scholarship of Rs. 40,000 to all students of minority communities who will be selected for one-year ‘Diploma in Television Programme Production’ of the institute for the academic year 2010-11.
The classes for the course will begin on August 20, 2010. The course has total 20 seats wherein a graduate can apply for admission. The application form and prospectus can be downloaded from its official website http://www.jmi.edu.in/.
Jahangirabad Media Institute is the premier institute of Jahangirabad Educational Trust. The trust has been working for the cause of education since 2001 especially in economically and socially backward areas of the countries. The media institute was started in 2005 by the trust on the sprawling campus of Jahangirabad Fort to facilitate professional training for both Indian and international students in the disciplines of electronic media with the help of talented and experienced teachers and latest instruments in the media.
