New Delhi : It was a bright sunny morning in Delhi Monday, but the weather office said thundershowers were expected later in the day.
“Skies will remain partly cloudy with possibility of thundershowers in some parts of the city later in the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The capital recorded a minimum temperature of 28.7 degrees, two notches above the average for this time of the season.
The humidity settled at a high of 75 percent.
Delhi has so far received 223.1 mm of rain, five percent below the average.
