Etisalat bags Asia’s best brand, employer awards

Abu Dhabi: UAE-based telecommunications service provider Etisalat has bagged Asia’s best brand and best employer awards in Singapore.

The Asia Awards and Employer Branding Institute gave the awards Sunday in recognition of Etisalat’s contributions to the sector and for being the most sought after employer in Asia, organisers said.

“Etisalat’s human resource policies are most innovative and inspire confidence amongst employees to contribute value,” said Phil Knight, chairman of Best Employer Brand Awards.

The company has expanded its operations over the past years in Asian markets like Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and India.

It has more than 100 million subscribers spread across 18 countries in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
