Beijing : Trade between Russia and China rose by 55.8 percent to $4.75 billion in May, compared to the corresponding period last year, Chinese customs authorities said Thursday.
Russia’s exports to China increased by 57.4 percent to $2.551 billion, while China’s exports increased by 53.8 percent to $2.2 billion in May this year.
Since the beginning of the year, China’s imports from Russia totalled $11.693 billion and exports $9.316 billion.
Russia’s share in China’s overall foreign trade in January-May this year totalled $1.1 trillion.
