Dambulla : India beat Bangladesh by six wickets in their opening match of the Asia cup cricket tournament here Wednesday.
India bowled out Bangladesh for 167 in 34.5 overs and chased the target in 30.4 overs.
Gautam Gambhir smashed 82 off 101 balls with six fours while Mahendra Singh Dhoni contributed 38. Part-time spinner Virender Sehwag was the leading wicket-taker for India, claiming four wickets, three of them coming in one over, in 2.5 overs.
