New Delhi: The national capital may witness light rains in some areas Thursday but the weather will be hot with the minimum temperature being recorded at 31.6 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the average, the met office said.
“Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 31.6 degrees Celsius, which was three degrees above normal for this time of the year,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The minimum temperature was, however, lower than Wednesday’s 33.7 degrees Celsius.
According to the IMD, the maximum temperature will hover around 42 degrees Celsius, less than Wednesday’s 43.6 degrees Celsius.
“The national capital will experience partly clouded sky with possibility of dust and thunderstorm followed by light rains in some areas,” the official said.
