“We are in the process of tying up with various hospitals across the country to launch ambulance services in India. We would also have our ambulance services in south and southeast Asian countries,” Sanjay Godhwani, the chief executive and managing director of Religare Voyages, told reporters on the sidelines of the Hyderabad air show here.

The five-day international exhibition and conference on civil aviation — Aviation India-2010 — is being organised jointly by the civil aviation ministry and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) at Begumpet airport here.

“We are also looking at launching a scheduled airline service. We have long-term plans to establish air services,” Godhwani said.

At present, Religare has a fleet of 11 aircraft and one chopper.

Religare displayed its newly-acquired Falcon 7X aircraft at the international aviation exhibition in Hyderabad.

Religare Aviation Academy will soon launch a pilot training course. Currently, the institute offers cabin crew training approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the company said.
