Lucknow : A man and a woman married overnight were killed Monday when a truck hit their car in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, police said. Four relatives also died in the accident.
The accident took place in Salempur town, some 400 km from Lucknow, when the couple was headed to Aligarh to begin a new life, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Babu Ram said.
The truck driver escaped after the accident, he said.
