Chennai : AIADMK general secretary J.Jayalalithaa Wednesday declared that she does not want to lose any party member and said there were chances of more political parties joining her party-led alliance to fight the assembly elections next year.
Responding to media queries about reports that senior party leader S. Muthusamy was planning to join the DMK, she said: “As a general secretary of a party with around one crore members, I do not want to lose even a single member.”
After attending a function organised by the party’s labour wing, Jayalalithaa said that her doors were always open for the party members to meet her and sort out their issues.
To a query whether more political parties would join the AIADMK-led alliance, she said certainly there were such chances.
