New Delhi : Delhiites will continue to reel under scorching heat Tuesday with the maximum temperature expected to be two notches above average at 42.5 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
“The skies will be clear. There will be no rain in the capital today (Tuesday). As the day progresses, the maximum temperature may rise to 44 degrees,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The minimum temperature was around 28 degree Celsius. The humidity was recorded at 44 percent.
After a pleasant weekend, heat and humidity were back in Delhi Monday as the maximum temperature was 42.5 degrees, two degrees above average.
