Islamabad : Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said former premier and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif was a “senior” and has every right to criticise the government.
“We will not mind his criticism,” Gilani was quoted as saying in Lahore Saturday by the Online news agency.
The prime minister was on a visit to the city to inquire about the health of senator Gulzar Ahmed, who had been admitted to a hospital.
The premier brushed aside media reports that all the political parties in the country are engaged in fighting with one another, and added that he has no reservations on taking everybody along, “including Nawaz Sharif”.
