BJP general secretary and spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters here that no meaningful dialogue can be held with Pakistan until it stops its state-sponsored terrorism against India.

“Musharraf has accepted what we have been saying. We said that there was Pakistan’s role in Mumbai terror attack so we ask the government of India that any meaningful dialogue can be taken forward only when Pakistan stops the state-sponsored terrorism,” Prasad said.

In an interview to Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine, Musharraf said militant groups “were indeed formed” to fight India in Kashmir.

“The government turned a blind eye because they wanted India to discuss Kashmir,” he was quoted as having said.
