New Delhi : Weightlifter Sudhir Kumar Thursday won a bronze medal for India in the 77 kg weight category. He lifted a total weight of 297 kg.
Gold was won by Nauru’s Yukio Peter, who lifted 333 kg. This was the first gold medal of this island country in the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
The silver went to Ben Turner of Australia, who carried 308 kg.
