New Delhi: Scotland, which will host the next Commonwealth Games in 2014, is all praise for India’s show at the Games.
“The Commonwealth Games are full of colours and medals,” Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond told IANS on the sidelines of a function here.
“Scotland will seek to emulate the show India presented. We want to win as many medals as India,” the minister said with enthusiasm.
“That will be in proportion to our population though,” he added jokingly.
India won 31 gold, 25 silver and 28 bronze medals till Tuesday morning.
