New Delhi : The skies in the capital remained clear and bright Thursday as the 19th Commonwealth Games came to a close.
The maximum temperature was 33.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the average, while the minimum temperature settled at 22 degrees Celsius – three notches above the average for this time of season, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
Skies will remain clear Friday too. “The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 33 degrees Celsius, while thee minimum will be around 21 degrees Celsius,” the Met office said in a forecast.
The humidity levels also oscillated between a high of 81 percent and a low of 35 percent.
Curtains came down Thursday evening on the 12-day-long Commonwealth Games that began Oct 3.
