New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi will attend the Dussehra celebrations at central Delhi’s popular Ramlila Maidan Sunday, a Congress leader said.
Both the leaders, among other dignitaries, will watch the burning of effigies of demon King Ravan, his son Meghnad and brother Kumbhakarna as a mark of the victory of good over evil, the leader said Saturday.
The two Congress leaders will also pick up bows and point their arrows towards the effigies.
