Aligarh: The Aligarh Education Endowment Fund (AEEF) has invited applications for Satyendra Kumar Kashyap Merit Scholarship 2010-11. The scholarship is only for B. Tech students of Mechanical Engineering at Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCT) at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
Only those students who are admitted to B.Tech. program at ZHCT through entrance test will be eligible for the scholarships. They must have got 50% marks in the entrance test as well as in 10th and 12th classes.
Besides, applicants should not be in receipt of any Scholarship/Financial Aid of more than Rs.600 monthly from any other source.
The selected candidates will be provided Rs. 1200/monthly for 12 months. The amount will be deposited with the university towards his/her University & Hall dues and the balance.
Application forms are available at AEEF website http://www.aeef.net/. The aspirants can apply for the scholarship to AEEF by 15th November 2010.
The scholarship is sponsored by Ms. Deepali Kashyap as a tribute to his father Mr. Satyendra Kumar Kashyap, an alumnus of AMU who passed away on 12th June 2010 in Lucknow. It is supported by AEEF which is working to serve the educational needs of the underprivileged communities in India
