New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna Thursday said the level of security maintained in the capital during the Commonwealth Games would continue till the festive season of Diwali and Christmas gets over.
At a high-level meeting at the Raj Bhawan on the law and order situation, Khanna said the security measures adopted by the Delhi Police cannot be relaxed.
“The citizens of Delhi should remain vigilant as ever and cooperate with the security forces to avoid any breach of security in the national capital,” he said at the meeting, which was also attended by Delhi’s Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta and senior police officers.
