New Delhi: The government Thursday said it has “no specific threats” ahead of US President Barack Obama’s Nov 6-9 India visit.
“There are no specific threats or anything. We are looking forward to President Obama’s visit,” Home Secretary G.K. Pillai said.
Obama begins his four-day visit to India from Mumbai Nov 6. He will leave three days later.
“All arrangements are in. We hope it will be a successful visit,” Pillai told NDTV.
He also said that intelligence sharing with the US has improved.
“Intelligence-sharing has definitely improved in recent months and with the signing of the counter-terrorism security initiative, the cooperation between India and US is far more broad-based,” Pillai said.
