Beed: Asadullah Ziyaullah, Head Master, Milliya High School in Beed has been honored with the state-level Ideal Teacher’s Award by the Government of Maharashtra for the academic year 2010-2011.He was awarded by Chief Minister Ashok Chavan in a program at Nanded on 5th September, Teachers’ Day.
Maharashtra state Education minister Balasaheb Thorat was also present at the program. Teachers’ Day is celebrated as birth anniversary of former president of India Dr S Radhakrishnan.
The award was given to Mr. Asadullah in recognition of his valuable 35 years of service in the
field of education. Talking to TCN, Mr. Asadullah said he has been serving as a teacher for 35
years and since 2005 as Head Master in Beed district’s famous and reputed school Milliya High School.
Maharashtra Government’s Ideal Teacher’s Award was given to 103 teachers from all over Maharashtra; nine of them are Muslim.
