Tokyo : The death toll in Japan’s earthquake and tsunami of March has climbed to 11,620 people with 16,464 people still missing, Xinhua reported Friday.
The devastating quake hit the coastal areas of northeast Japan and triggered a killer tsunami that led to explosions at the Fukushima nuclear power plant.
