Singh told reporters on the sidelines of a function to give away the Padma awards that the reports were being analysed by various ministries. “There are appropriate procedures. The report is under analysis by various ministries. I am yet to get the analysis from the ministries,” he said.

The high-level committee headed by former Comptroller and Auditor General V.K. Shunglu in its report has pointed out several irregularities in various CWG projects implemented by Delhi government and indicted Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Dikshit has expressed reservations over the Shunglu report and conveyed her views to the prime minister.

The prime minister appointed the Shunglu panel soon after the Commonwealth Games were over in October last year to look into allegations of irregularities in the conduct of the mega sporting event.

The panel had in its earlier report indicted former chief executive officer of Prasar Bharti B.S. Lalli and Director General (Doordarshan) Aruna Sharma for decisions regarding broadcasting rights of the Commonwealth Games.
