Patna : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Friday said he fully supported Gandhian Anna Hazare’s demand for a comprehensive and effective anti-corruption law.
“I am with Anna Hazare’s campaign and strongly favour his demand for bringing a comprehensive Lokpal Bill to weed out corruption,” Nitish Kumar told media persons here.
Describing Anna Hazare’s movement as ‘jan andolan’, the chief minister said that people were joining Anna Hazare as they were fed up with corruption.
“Anna Hazare’s campaign has emerged as a new ray of hope for people to get rid of corruption,” he said.
In view of the overwhelming mood of the people, a comprehensive Lokpal Bill is the need of the hour, he added.
