Kashmir: School of Science and Technology to be set up soon

Srinagar: Advisory Board for Anjuman-i-Ulemai Ahnaf (AUA) which met for the first time today discussed future strategy to enhance the activities of organization. As part of its future programme, AUA meeting concluded that Imam Azam Science and Technology School will be set up in near future.

The meeting was chaired by its president Moulana Manzoor Ahmad Qureshi and DC Srinagar M. A. Kakroo and many journalists also attended the meeting.

According to a press release, the meeting concluded that Imam Azam Science and Technology School will be established and Imam Azam conference will also be held in the valley soon. The meeting said that the religious scholars of the state and the country will take part in the meeting.

The General Secretary Moulana Akhzar Hussain discussed the objectives of the meeting. It was also decided that a three month journal “Imam Azam” would also be published for which work has already been started.

Earlier, a condolence meeting was also held to express sympathies with the bereaved family of late Moulana Showkat Ahmad Shah. Fateh Khwanai was and prayers were also offered for eternal peace to the departed soul.
